Children receive a nutritious hot dinner on arrival and a healthy snack later in the afternoon. Hot dinners are provided by Early Days Foods.

Yes. Hi5 Childcare caters for dietary needs and allergies. All locations operate as nut free zones.

What activities do the children do throughout the day?

Children take part in varied activities including yoga, sports, hip hop, musical theatre, science, Spanish, arts and crafts, age appropriate games and free play.

What are your school collection procedures?

Children are collected at their appropriate time and brought to their after school location by at least two staff members, either by walking bus or company vehicle. Children are provided with Hi Vis vests for outside walks or activities.

What are your handover procedures and what happens if I am running late?

Parents should use the doorbell on arrival. A staff member will bring the child out and share any necessary information. If you are running late, please contact your child's Room Leader.

What level of training do your staff receive?

Staff have previous childcare experience and receive regular training in childcare, first aid, fire safety and manual handling.

What if my child becomes sick during the day?

If a child becomes sick, Hi5 Childcare will contact the parent or emergency contact to arrange collection. Appropriate care will be provided while the child remains at Hi5.

Do I need to provide anything for my child when they join Hi5?

Parents should provide any necessary medication, such as an epi pen, inhaler or Calpol, and a change of clothes. These items will be labelled and safely stored.
