Hi5 Childcare started with one after school programme and a simple idea: primary school children deserve an afternoon that feels like home, not like a waiting room. Almost a decade later we run seven centres across Malahide, Portmarnock, Sutton and Kinsealy.
Our story
We opened our first centre in Malahide in 2017 to fill a gap parents kept describing — a calm, structured, fun place where children could land after school, eat well, run around, and be greeted by familiar faces.
Today we collaborate with local primary schools across north Dublin. Our staff have childcare experience and receive regular training in first aid, fire safety and manual handling. We work to a 1:12 staff-to-child ratio and operate every site as a nut-free zone.
This site is a prototype of a new Hi5 Childcare experience — clearer, more accessible, and easier for our team to keep up to date.
